I have a very low tolerance for pain. Does it hurt? Is it worth it? And where should I get them done?

it doesnt really hurt. you hear a BANG. and it stings a little. but it doesnt hurt! go ahead get them dont. get it in the normal spot. i heard that it hurts at the top of the ear.

when i was little i didnt want to get my ears pierced because i was scared but i ended up doing it and it was easyyyy its like getting a shot, quick and simplee my mom persuaded me to get mine pierced by saying ohh when your older your gonna want to wear earings and stuff so yeah go for it ! =] |

it wont hurt for long. the 1st day it wont but the next few days it will.(aside from the regular two piercings) i always wanted additional piercings bc i wanted to be like everyone else. but i didnt do it and im thankful that i didnt because i would have regretted it.. its not worth it!

I HAVE A 6 PIERCINGS AND A TAT.
EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT ON PAIN LEVEL SO IT COMES DOWN TO HOW MUCH YOU REALLY WANT IT! IT DIDNT HURT ME MUCH JUST A STING. GOOD LUCK! |

okay i was 8 when i got mine it didnt hurt one bit! trust me there a lot of fun i love shpping for earings!

It does not hurt. I think it is becuz I love wearing cute little earrings. You can get your lobes pierced at the mall or you can go to a tattoo and piercing shop and have it done.

Oh please, don't listen to them. It don't hurt AT ALL. You feel a little little little pinch and thats it, I have 4 piercings, in my ears, 2 on each side. I'm 13 too, and I may get another hole on each side. So get it, it is worth it and it don't hurt at all, oh and I got mine done at Clairs, GOOD LUCK

If you feel like you are ready, and your parents also agree. Then you are ready. It does hurt a little, but not too much.
I would suggest not getting it done with a piercing gun though. Piercing guns are very unsanitary and cannot be effectively steralized... I have had piercings with both a gun and a needle. The needle hurt much less. Find a reputable piercing/tattooing studio in your area to get your ears pierced. Some of the sites I listed below will help you make your decision of gun vs. needle. |

It hurts for a split second. Then your ears get all hot. But you will have to turn the earrings at least a couple of times a day for several weeks to keep them from attaching to your skin - this might be painful at first. You have to use alcohol a few times a day to fight infection, which is cold and might sting. If you get infected, that's definitely painful.
I didn't mind the pain, but if that sounds like too much for you, I'd wait a little longer until you're really ready for it. |

getting your ears pierced does not hurt really bad. I got mine pierced when I was 8, and didn't cry. I think it would be cool if you did get them pierced because you can wear different ear rings for all occasions! you can even match!! so YES get them pierced!
