You should wait until it is healed completely before changing it out and that can take up to 6 months. I actually waited a year before changing mine.

it sould be fine. soak the ring in rubbing alchol and make sure your hands are clean before you do it. if the ring and your hands arent clean, then it could get infected so just be clean lol have fun at the bahamas! im jealous by the way lol

wait a bit longer if u can but there's not really any harm in changing it. If it comes out easily without hurting then i guess try but u might defer the healing process. Dont take my word on it I wouldn't want it to go wrong u should probably wait.

You need to leave it for 6 to 8 weeks before changing it. It may look healed but on the inside it isn't it actually takes months to be fully healed, if you change it before 6 to 8 weeks you could risk infection and the chance of having difficulties when putting the new bar in as the tissue is still soft and there is still not exactly a clear straight hole to go through. Dont risk it, as seeing as your going to be swimming alot, salt water is ok but only in little bits its the germs that will be in the water that wont help so if you take it out replace it with a different one then go swimming you will be aggravating it, so i would just leave it in and as much as possible cover the piercing with a plaster when swimming as it is not fully healed and you will be risking alot of germs getting into it, the infection your risking is worse then they way you think you may look with it being covered with a plasters

well i got mine pierced when i wasa 14 and waited quite a while to change mine..probably about 6 months. although it was ready to change after probably about 2/3 months i just didnt want to risk it. but if you think its okay and its not sore or red or itchy then it should be fine to change. you should try buying a while gold one, or at least sterling silver from a proper jewelry shop as some of the cheap ones turn green on your belly and can infect the piercing. if it does not seem ready to be changed and hurts when youre trying to take it out then i would wait a couple more weeks. hope this helps

You need to wait at least 2-4 months to change the ring since it's so fresh. After you go swimming remember to rinse it with regular water & cleaning solution, since oceans aren't clean.
